Thumbs Up -- Great Job HDN

It’s true that the Corrector has done allot of bellyaching about the inaccuracies in our home town paper but we are the first to admit it when they finally nail one. Wednesday’s front page was a marvelous thing to behold. It was the best laid out page we have ever seen in the Havre Daily News.  Lavoi's picture cut-out at the top of the page and the picture placement was fabulous.

Furthermore the elections articles were well written and surprisingly accurate. Nikki Carlson again proved that the HDN hiring her was the best thing that has ever happened to them. Her photos were marvelous like usual

    I thought it was great also. What was really great was the picture of two of the ACLU prayer complainants Smeby and Trethewey on the front page with those long sad faces; those were the types of things that cost the Democrats the election.

    It is just one page of thousands they have done poorly but I will also say it was a great layout on Wednesday and the stories where alright too

    I never in my life dreamed we would see the day that we had complete Republican representation up here. I also beleave they are conservatives.Where is Ray Peck?

    We have complete Republican representation because Obama has pissed the world off. It has nothing to do with who the best candidates are. Funny how Warburton decided to join the Rowlie church long AFTER Seidel had a concealed weapons permit...

    Deconstructor I am sure the HDN hated to do a positive republican page like this but what else could they do. The local republicans worked hard and actually won the election because of it. The Democrats did very little

    Give credit where credit is due.
