Thanks to the reader that sent us this photo showing the peoples frustration with the lack of response to complaints about our sinkhole filled roads. Will Public Works take some action if enough people give them a call? Come on readers let’s give it a try ……….. Call 265-4941
We may have to wait until Monday for that action however because tomorrow is “sneak out of work early” Friday
Sadly this is not the only road that should be sporting a sign like this. Bravo to whomever posted it.
ReplyDeleteHavre needs more proactive people like this.
ReplyDeleteI imagine Gerry will bloviate about no return address on the sign.
Monday is a holiday, maybe tuesday
ReplyDeletenothing but holidaze for roadwork.
ReplyDeleteA sign really means a lot. I held a sign in front of Mcdonalds for a few days and got some really good feedback and a big response from the Mcdonalds corp. Maybe more people could do something similar to this pot hole sign, and its just possible that something may get done. Who knows.
ReplyDeleteIts a great sign. But these things happen and it takes time and money to fix it. Weather comes into play also. How about supporting the community.
ReplyDeleteUp here on the forgotten end of the county we would get some gravel and fill in the hole.
ReplyDeleteWe had to haul our own gravel to gravel the county road, but at least it got done.
To Lola what the heck do you think we are doing with our tax money. If that aint supporting our community than what is,maybe you should direct your stupid comments to the city officials who are not supporting our community, they need to get rid of the city public works bosses and get someone who can handle the job. They need to get their priorities straight and not worry about business liscenses, downtown parking, animal control and other petty crap and make snow cleanup and potholes Priority.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Fed-Up about the licensing and such. Instead of worrying about real problems the city is working on more regulation. I doubt it will make Havre better. Just the opposite. If we wanted to live in an overtaxed over regulated city we would go to California where at least the weather is nice.
