Havre History in Pictures

I recall going to the 2&87 diner back in the early 70's but I seem to remember the diner having windows all across the fron which don't show up in this picture so it must be older than the 70's. Anyone know when this was built?
The truckstop was a popular place to eat. Good old homemade food. Ahh the good old days.I think Ron Harmons dad had it in those days. Thanks for the memories :)
I had a friend named Peggy (Searle is the last name – unsure of spelling) in high school whose parents ran the truck stop restaurant for a time. I think they moved to Chester. Anyone know what became of Peggy?
The south steps on the courthouse look pretty good.
