We have slight problem with the Havre Daily Corrector comment post. We are starting to get some posts (spam) linking us to various sites including a Porn place or two in the comments section. Most have originated on the Fire Department Post some time ago so. We have deleted it completely because it appears to be linked to some type of automatic poster. If this doesn’t cure the problem, the best option, it appears to us is to require that you have to enter a copied name in the Box to be allowed to post as many sites require you to do. We want to do what is easy and what will be best to encouraged participation.
Does anybody have suggestions or comments about this? We want to hear what you think. Or should we just keep deleting the comments?
Some one wants to shut this wonderful sight down with thegarbage they are spaming you with, until there is a way to catch them just delete there scum.
ReplyDeleteI like this site. Keep up the good work. Where ever there is a problem with spammers or anything, I think you should talk with the people in charge at the original site of the spam and get them to address the problem. And then delete the garbage.

ReplyDeleteI believe you have the answer. The Corrector needs to do what is necessary to protect the site . Keep up the good work... it is appreciated by many.
