KFBB's news team ventured to Havre recently to get its take on the Havre Superintendent controversy. The local ABC affiliate interviewed a few local folks about their opinion on the School Board's decision.

Did anyone hear that they were putting the school addition on hold? That was what I heard.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard that. I didn't think any of the money for the addition came out of the school budget.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that why they were building it in the first place? It was some of that FREE MONEY that grows on the government tree that no one seems to remember who paid in taxes in the first place
Why did all the papers and both TV stations carry this story from poor forgotten Havre? I think they smell a big story in the future when all the secrets come out
Vote NO to all school revenue requests. It's time for the voters to take back control of a corrupt behind closed doors system
Someone commented on one of the earlier posts about wanting to see the School budget and then later another posted about how the School hides items in the budget so the John Q Public won't notice anything amiss
ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion for those going to ask for information. Ask for a copy of all the checkbook registers where you can see every check written. It should be available to the public
When I think to the fact that I borrowed money to pay my property tax just to have the board flush it down the john before my loan is even paid really has me upset.
OK...the guy goes around resigning from these jobs before his contract is up!...Who hired him here?...I think that he must have opened someones closet door and found a skeleton that was supposed to stay hidden...which is why he is going to get the hush money....he will move on to another community and repeat the procedure....keep tabs on him!!We as a community need to oust these wannabe "Elitists" that think we are just ignorant sheep and what they do is for "OUR" own good!WAKE UP or stay a slave to them...

ReplyDeletekind of funny...one of the jobs of the county supt was to be the check and balance of Havre Public Schools spending of tax dollars...wonder why the 3 stooges (county commissioners) cut the position to part time...maybe the school board and the 3 stooges are all in bed together!! just all their political playground!!
