Tonight, Monday, January 4 at 7 pm, new Havre Mayor Tim Solomon will be sworn in and take over at the helm of the Havre City Council. We bestow our best wishes on Mayor Tim in his new role as Mayor of our fine City. Hopefully, as his sign states, we can begin to work together, not forgetting that the taxpayers of this city placed our confidence in him to do what is best for the residents of the City. We also recognize that many think Mayor Tim is going to roll over and play dead when it comes to battling Hill County on the various difficulties presently underway between the County and City but we at the Corrector are taking a wait and see attitude. We also agree that there needs to be some vast improvements in our relationships with others and hope that everyone can work toward our common goals. At this point it is what it is and let’s all make the best of it and move forward.
