Wisconsin Business Owner Stands up to “Boycott Bullies”

WI judge extends restraining order on union law and a WI business owner stand up to the union thugs that tried to boycott her business for not placing a sign of support of a union run amuck in Union Grove. The Justice Department has been asked to investigate further.

This kind of reminds me of the Havre Democrats boycott of the pizza guy a few years back. Will they ever learn?

  1. This lady is not a hero or a victim, people who work for a wage think that unions are the reason that some workers seem over paid. In fact unions are the reason we all are making more. When is the last time you saw a large business share the record profits. She tell the reporter she was a teacher at one time, I would imagine a union represented teacher, now she seems to think that showing support for a union worker would hurt her business? Looks like a opportunity was given and she promoted her business with free press and publicity. I was amused that the reporter made such a big deal that she was 54, a grandma, and still working. He looked much older and he was still working as are many people much older then both of them .

  4. Mafia tactics. In fact in a lot of ways, it is exactly like the mafia. Mafia gangsters offer businesses "protection" for a fee. How is that different than paying taxes to pay for protection. Now those same employees of the government are threatening the shop owner.
    I don't see a difference.

  5. Every union member in every industry- should have gone on strike the day after after the Wisconsin governor pulled his stunt.

If the same thing would have happened when Reagan fired PATCO the US would be in far better shape now, and the middle class would be thriving rather than becoming extinct.

Why not? It's a perfectly reasonable, non-violent, way of protesting.
