BREAKING NEWS: Standard & Poors Downgrades U.S. Debt from AAA to AA+

After all the patting on the back from our Dear Leader Mr. Obama this week and "No Earmarks Ever" Tester about the hard work they've done on behalf of the American people to, as Obama said "solve the debt crisis," Standard & Poors (S&P) has downgraded U.S. debt for the first time in American History. How's that Hope and Change working out for ya folks? Unbelieveable.

Bottom Line? The deal of earlier this week is nothing but a kick the can down the road move that mattered little to the threat from the credit ratings agencies about lowering our credit rating.

After the roller coaster ride on the Dow this week, this nation's economy is teetering on the brink of total failure. Greece, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Zimbabwe, move over. Here comes the U.S.

Note to Congress. . .Cut Up The Credit Card Now!

  1. Most working Americans should not tolerate this incompetence by the President and Congress.

    Enough is Enough!

50 plus Americans don't pay taxes.

Congress can't correct or balance the budget...

The President wants to tax the 1 - 3 % of the rich...

Does anyone know the root causes and severity of our national issues...?

Enjoy the rest of the short summer... Fall and Winter are upon us... as well as the 2012 elections. ...And, the same-O- same-O-promises of double talk, double standards and straight forth lying...

America is ripe for a major wake-up call / take over...
by someone brave, courageous and who does not have a conflict of interest / personal agenda.

I pray its not another country...

  2. I think it is official.

The representatives we send to do the peoples business now have admitted more allegiance to the corporations that finance them than the people they represent.

This is such a disgrace, and I for one am an Obama voter that wishes he would have shown the cajones we elected him for.

Instead of the threat that social security and veterans payments would not have been made, Obama should have prioritized and the first thing to be cut off should have been congressional payroll, congressional health insurance, and electricity/telephones to their offices.

I am not a tea bagger, but it is time for these disgraces in Washington to get in their own unemployment line.

Maybe they can start bagging groceries here.

  3. They didn't cut anything from the budget. They cut out some spending INCREASES! They needed to cut two trillion per year, just to balance the budget, not to mention the 13 trillion we are already in the hole. They could have at least made a token cut of PBS or NPR.
They don't intend to fix anything, just take what they can while the merry-go-round is still spinning.

  4. What has happened to our government is a disgrace to those who founded this country. The greed that both parties have shown us is unbeleivable. When you think that things couldn't get any worse, we hear about a new scam or program our elected idiots have to waste more of our money. We need a leader who has the balls to stand up for whats right and not for what the "good old boys" want them to do.
