how about a little commentary about the new estimate of the school addition at $150/sq ft in Wed. havre daily news in the administrator report PG A3. If you remember one of the key reasons the school board went with Contractor @ risk was the promise of a $110/sq ft expected price tag. THis estimate was from the out of town contractors. Also Clausen was asked what he expected the buildidng to cost and if I remember right he said $150-170 range - which i think mad the board dismiss his bid even though that was not a criteria for the bid.
A comment I heard was that this board would not build this addition if it ran over budget and could not be built at the $110 level since it would require money other than federal money.
Alas, he is doomed to lose. He has dark skin and speaks like a Negro.
