HAVRE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 1-4-2010 @ 7PM
After the oath of Office installing Mayor Tim Solomon into office and the installation of recently elected council members the new council will move directly to appoint a new City Judge. The Current City Judge, Joyce Perzak has retired and the newly elected Judge, Dave Krezlak declined to take the job for which he won election on November 3, 2009. It is reported that two people have expressed interest in filling the Judge position. Former candidate Margaret Heinz and Rozan Kerr. Heinz was defeated by Krezlak this last election and Kerr had ran in a previous election against sitting Judge Perzak.
Other items on the City agenda for tonight’s meeting include the Zion-Grant Proposal, Bids on an asphalt reclaiming machine, and election of the Council President which is currently held by Alan ‘Woody” Woodwick. As usual there is also time at the end of the meeting for public comment.
Council meeting starts at 7pm preceded by a Finance Committee meeting at 4:45pm. Next scheduled Council meeting is January 19th.
